Special Projects

From its founding in 1973, Nungalinya College in Darwin provided for the training needs of the Anglican, Uniting and more recently Catholic Churches in theology, the Bible, Christian Ministries and Church leadership. Over the years a number of special projects have helped the Churches to provide a more holistic community development model.  Today these exist as special projects.

Nungalinya College has many established relationships with remote communities in the Northern Territory, the majority of these are communities in Arnhem Land and on the Tiwi Islands.

Funding agreements with Government and NGO’s has given Nungalinya a unique and exciting opportunity to work alongside these communities in the development of special educational programs.
