God said, “I command a dome to separate the water above it from the water below it.” And that’s what happened. God made the dome and named it “Sky.” Evening came and then morning—that was the second day. Gen 1:6-8

Artwork 2 - Running Water

Artist: Levina Watson Language: Warlpiri Community: Yuendemu

Levina has been painting for many years. She has been taught by elders how to paint her 'jukurrpa' (dream story) of water. She has been painting this story for years and had not thought much about how the symbol of water is also used throughout the Bible. During her time at Nungalinya, Levina has grown both as a Christian and as an artist. 

You cause the water to flow from springs into the streams that flow down between the mountains. Psalm 104:8
