Many of our students are from remote areas and have family and community commitments. Nungalinya College caters to these needs by offering course by mixed mode delivery through the Darwin campus. This means that students will have work to do at home as well as in intensives at the Darwin campus.
Nungalinya College employs Indigenous and non-Indigenous teaching and support staff. Some of the teaching staff are sponsored by affiliated churches. It is important we employ Indigenous staff and offer them training to enhance their career opportunities.
We provide a unique blend of courses that are tailored to suit the needs of Indigenous people and Indigenous communities.
It is recommended that students complete the Foundation Studies before attempting other courses.
All studies are completed by students part time, in mixed mode. This means they are studying for 8 months which includes intensives at Nungalinya College and 50% of work is completed in their communities.
All students must be recommended by their churches.
