Nungalinya Indigenous Cultural Experience Nungalinya College is a combined churches training college for Indigenous Australians. We are inviting small groups of adults who are keen to learn more about Indigenous faith and culture to join with us during term time. Katherine Christian Convention follows these days so you may like to investigate attending this conference also. 3rd June to 5th June. Nungalinya Reconciliation Night will be celebrated on 5th June. 29th July to 31st July Costs and Accommodation As this program is being offered during term time, we are not available to provide accommodation on the Nungalinya campus Each group will need to find their own accommodation in Darwin and we strongly recommend hiring a vehicle A nominal fee for participating in the program will be charged at $50 per person We will provide morning tea and lunch at a cost of $22.50 per person per day Stay and Explore Perhaps after a day of rich learning together, you may choose to get out and explore the surrounding area each afternoon/evening. Or perhaps before or after spending your days with us, you might like to head out on a field trip. Some ideas: Berry Springs, Litchfield National Park, Fogg Dam, Corroboree Billabong and World Heritage-listed Kakadu National Park are right on our doorstep. Explore beautiful waterfalls, swimming holes and astonishing flora and fauna. Darwin located WWII sites, RFDS and Bombing of Darwin interactive exhibits, Military and Aviation museums, Art gallery, WWII Oil storage tunnels, Mindil Beach Sunset Markets and more!
