Description:
How lovely is your dwelling place, Lord Almighty! Psalm 84:1

God is the creator of the heavens and the earth and everything in it. But he also felt something was missing. So he created man in his own image and they lived with God in the Garden of Eden. But man disobeyed by eating fruit from the forbidden tree. So God kicked them out of the Garden and they were separated from him. But God wanted to be with his people again so he told Moses to build a special place for him, the tabernacle, where he could be close to his people. His glory came down in a cloud of fire. The people had to sacrifice animals to be cleansed from their sins. Jesus was sent to earth to live as one of us- God dwelling with humans again. He became the sacrifice to cleanse us from our sins. He was separated from God when he died, but rose from the dead making a way for sinners to be in relationship with God again. After Jesus left earth, God sent his spirit to dwell in His people. Now we become his temple and He dwells in us. One day all his followers will be with Him face to face and walk with Him for eternity. “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will freely give from the spring of the water of life.
